Porcelain Stack

All stacked with no glue or glazes holding them together. Can be restacked as many times as possible!
Unnatural Attractions
“Unnatural Attractions,” Bronze, Porcelain, Stoneware, Fiber,
72x96x7in, 2010-2011
This piece is a step in the direction of my thesis project I am currently working on as a Fine Art senior at the University of Cincinnati, College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning.
Flowers and Antlers
Antler Vase, Porcelain, Fiber, 14x5x5in, 2010
This shape was created from a block of plaster that was turned on a wood lathe to create this elegant shape influenced by European porcelain factories of the 17th and 18th cnetury. After that I created a plaster mold from the shape and casted it in porcelain, drilled holes for the embroidered antlers and flowers and added some knitted swag!
Stacked and Re-Stacked Antlers
These are my eight polished (took me weeks!) bronze caste antlers with porcelain hexagon connectors! They are able to be re-stacked as many ways as possible!
Tulip Vase
Tulip Vase, Porcelain, 15x10x10in, 2010
Each beehive shape is hand thrown then altered off the wheel with the hexagon openings to create the eight tiered vase.
